In a neighbourhood of charming historical houses directly in front of the Rijksmuseum you find a treasure-trove of arts and antiques, yours for the picking. Over 70 specialised dealers offer art and antiques whether it’s a Dutch Old Master, Delftware, Art Deco jewellery or a painting finished yesterday. For a hundred years the Spiegelkwartier has supplied the Rijksmuseum itself. Tucked in between these Aladdin’s Caves are fashion boutiques, as well as cafés and restaurants perfect for a little time out.
